Activities of the facility are based upon research questions that are generated by various research groups within the university, by related industrial partners and by third parties (contract research).

Activities are focused on:
1. Drug Development.
2. Development of nutraceuticals/functional foods.
3. Medical Diagnostics (biomarker discovery).
4. Proteomics technology development.
